Winning Orange as a client in 2001 led me to set up word bird, my freelance copywriting business. I worked with Orange for 15 years (until their takeover by BT), writing everything from their Corporate Social Responsibility website and brochure to names for new services; product guides to employee communications; ads to user guides.

I worked on the transition to new parent brand Everything Everywhere, including writing user scenarios for services such as mobile payments for individuals and small businesses, tracking chip technology and in-car computers: these were used to introduce the new brand to staff at the NEC. And I wrote consumer-facing leaflets for EE, including the Guide for Parents, and the Digital Champions guide.

Shown belown are just a few of the many clients I've worked with since 2001. It's worth mentioning that I haven't only worked with big brands: I've also written for design consultancies, charities and start-ups, and even helped individuals with client pitches or with honing their CVs and job applications.

For an overview of my clients and details of the projects I've worked on with them – from customer magazines to tone of voice, radio ads to brand bibles, websites to corporate brochures – please have a look at my CV. And to find out what my clients have to say about working with me, check out my references or have a look at my LinkedIn profile.
